The Ark brings pole vault to downtown Grand Forks. Elite performances meet summertime music, great food, and the energy of a vibrant city.

We have a brand new pit and standards to ensure a safe and exciting competition.

Registration will open June 23rd. There will be four sessions: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Elite.

Due to limited availability, we are only accepting vaulters with a personal best over 10 feet.

Elite Performance

Some of the best vaulters in the country are jumping at this event!

We have Sofia Condon from the University of Minnesota. Her personal best of 14’2” places her 5th in school history. A scorer in the B1G Ten conference, she ranks among the best vaulters in the Midwest and across the nation.

Also competing is Blake Homiston from Dickinson High School. His personal best of 16’1” this past season broke the North Dakota state record. He became an NSAF All-American by taking 8th place at Nike Nationals.

Live Announcers

Announcing this event are Camron Roehl and Ryan Enerson from the homegrown Praire Track and Field Podcast!

These guys did a terrific job announcing the Border Battle XC country meet last season. By calling decisive moves in the pack to highlighting emerging local talent, they created an awesome meet experience for both athletes and spectators.

We will provide a great experience for the fans!

This event is free for all spectators.

We’re going to build community around the Greater Grand Forks area and connect people with all the wonderful restaurants, stores, and businesses the area has to offer.

There will be food trucks, merchandise vendors, and breweries in the area.
